That is my third Simmons Beautyrest Cotton Blend Waterproof with Laminate Twin Mattress Pad. I have a twins girl so I have purchase 2 of these at the same time and this time is for spare. One day one of the pad gets "WET" by my little girl. The pad is wet but not for the mattress. So it really do the waterproof job. Just one thing is it take a longer time to dry the pad in the dryer. However it is much better the mattress get wet!Customer Review: Protects your investment

Now that my granddaughter is old enough to sleep without diapers, I knew that there was still the possibility of an "accident" so I bought the waterproof pads for my beds. Within the first week of her visit this summer, she proved me right- and I'm so glad that I was prepared. Other than the hassle of washing the bedding, the mattress was nice and dry. I bought this mattress pad for my 4-yr-old son, who sometimes had accidents in the bed at night. The pad is of good quality: it adds coushin to the mattress and it has never leaked for us. I also bought one for my older son's bed, which is the top bunk, and it's really difficult to put it on his mattress. It's quite a workout, so I would not recommend it for loft beds or bunk beds.Customer Review: very waterproof, no PVC

Pros: extremely waterproof; contains no PVC (hence no toxic fumes); soft cloth surface doesn't make sleepers sweaty
Cons: becomes oval shaped after washing and requires two people to put on bed; when washed sometimes collects water that needs to be dripped out before putting it in the dryer (this is easy to do)

So far I have really liked this waterproof pad. I even bought another so I can have one in the wash and one on toddlers bed at the same time. I hope they hold up in the wash and get clean after being peed on because those are both really important facters for me. I will let you know how it goes:)
