Customer Review: Works great and a blessing for short stretch bandages

I ordered the press from Amazon and got super fast ( and free) shipping. I needed something that would save me time pressing my short stretch bandages. The iron just takes so long - but with the press I can press a 5 meter bandage zig zagged across the board in 10 seconds. The press puts out a nice amount of pressure - a lot more than you can do by hand. I like the 10 second beep feature , heats up fairly quick and the press handle operates with a minimum amount of force.Customer Review: The best steam press. You don't get your fingers burned!

This is an excellent steam press. The top lifts off high enough where you don't get your hands burned by the top of the press as the other brands. I bought both the singer and the Reliable Empressa S500 model because of the bigger size but it does not compare to the Singer. The only minus is that Singer is only 7 times the zize of an iron versus the Reliable Empressa of 10+ times the size of an iron.
I wish Singer would make a larger size press.

I love this press it saves me so much time and does a great job. One word of caution - it is hot so watch your hands when you put clothing between the press (the top is hot). This item has also saved me about $ 30 a week in pressing at the dry cleaner. I can press a pair of pants in about 2 minutes. If I were to wish for one thing that would be a bigger water resevior but I can live with this one.Customer Review: Singer Steam Press

The press is very easy to use. I primarily purchased it so I could easily iron linen napkins, placemats and small items. However, I did figure out how to iron a tablecloth and it was easier than using an iron and ironing board. For the price I paid, I feel I received a quality product and Singer is a name that has years of product history.

I've had this steam press for several months now and it is still working perfect - just like the day it arrived. It heats up quickly and the steam fuction really helps. I debated making this purchase for a very long time and wish that I had bought it years ago. My iron hasn't even left the shelf since the steam press arrived.
