Skylink is to be commended for a great product.
1. Arrived in 2 days with free shipping.
2. Thought went into packaging: logical and secure.
3. Instructions in ENGLISH and ONLY ENGLISH! Well written to boot!
4. Easy assembly, very precise directions complete with pics of the actual size hardware for each connection.
5. Had a question, called customer service, left message, call returned in 30 minutes by an ENGLISH speaking woman who knew the product. No problem.
6. Did anyone mention quiet? Door mechanism makes more noise than the lift.
7. Soft start/stop is a nice feature, as is the "learn" function that automatically determines where to stop.
Now the test will be time. Mine has been up for three days and is working fine. Hopefully it will continue to impress.
