Iso¿Cool¿ pillows and mattress toppers feature Outlast® Adaptive Comfort® material that adjusts to the body's changing temperature. The microscopic Phase Change Material (PCM) beads sense whether the body's mean temperature is too warm or too cool. If the body's temperature is too warm, the product absorbs heat and feels cool in order to regulate body temperature. If the body's temperature is too cool, the product releases heat and feels warm in order to regulate the body temperature. Carpenter Co.'s Iso¿Cool products feature the highest available concentration of PCMs, making them extremely effective. Iso¿Cool pillows are available in two luxurious and supportive fills: spiral-spun polyester and visco-elastic foam. Customer Review: Just what I needed

I have had my pillow just over a week. I aired it out for about 8 hours- but didn't find the smell bothersome at all. I washed the cover before my first use that first night and that was all I needed. The first night the pillow was too firm (and I had wanted a firm pillow) so I was a little worried, but by the second night it was pure bliss. It is firm enough to be very comfortable but still has the wonderful give of memory foam. It is nice and big (I have the Gussetted Side Sleeper) and I find it comfortable on my side or back which is nice. The cover isn't as soft as I would like but it is comfortable enough. (I was used to a microfiber cover on my previous memory foam pillows) The cover really does seem to stay cooler longer than my regular pillow cases. Like all memory foam I have tried previously it does get warm after a while, but I am a very hot sleeper and am finding this one with the Iso-Cool cover does stay much cooler which helps me get to sleep and stay asleep. It is reasonably priced for the quality that compares to much more expensive brands that I've tried (Serta, Temperpedic). I highly recommend this pillow especially if you are looking for something to keep you cooler at night.
