I was having trouble sleeping on the mattress in my dorm. who knows how long its been since they changed the mattress but it was like sleeping on a bed of rocks. once i got the foam pad first thing i noticed was that it didnt not smell with the exception of a very faint smell which was gone the next day. sleeping on it is like being on a cloud i dont wake up in the middle of the night nor do i have any pain in my back. this pad is a good price and a great product you would be silly not to buy one.Customer Review: Fantastic for sleeping

I actually ordered this product to take camping with us because I am six months pregnant. I wanted some additional support to sleep on in addition to the air mattress. We have a Temprapedic at home, so I was hoping this would be enough support to keep my comfortable. It made all of the difference in the world for me and I am going to put it on my son's twin bed now so when I lay down with him at night to read books it is more comfortable (and I think he will like sleeping on it).Customer Review: Soft and comfy

My new mattress felt comfortable initially but I was waking up with back pain to the point I was thinking of getting another mattress. I ordered this and instantly felt a difference. It is a very soft pad and you do sink down into it, but it's transformed by bed into something soft and inviting again. It might not be as "supportive" and firm as some of the more expensive pads, but this feels very close to the $3,000 memory foam beds I tried out.Customer Review: Money Well Spent

I have a hard, cheap ikea twin mattress, and layering this on top has turned it into a dream. It doesn't shift around. It works exactly as advertised. Very, very wonderfully comfortable. When I settle in for the night, it's like all the pressure is being taken off my joints. I wake up in the morning feeling grand (although I don't always want to get up!)
Really great investment. Highly recommended.

I bought this for my 19 year old daughter after a spinal fusion of T-3 to L-1 (a 12 inch incision). The dr recommended a memory foam mattress and this seemed a good compromise. She spent a day on her regular mattress until this arrived, and said it was a vast improvement over the plain mattress alone. We did allow it to air out and "fluff" first, although neither she or I found the odor terribly bothersome.
