While deployed to Afghanistan, we were issued cardboard thin mattresses. Now, being issued a mattress in itself is a blessing due to the job I do while deployed. These mattresses were so uncomfortable, several service members began to have back issues, including myself. After 3 months of back pain and sleepless nights, I decided to invest in a mattress pab. This particular pad is like sleeping on clouds (compared to what we were using). At night, whereas I used to stay awake for an hour or so, I lie down and fall asleep within 20min. Since then, four others have purchased this item and all are very satisfied.
