The machine was alright and the shipping was fast. overall a nice product. But it gets stuck frequently and the stitch gets all jumbled up,so it took quite a lot of time to get simple things done. However, I ultimately succeded in stitching the hem of my jeans with it. The user manual could have been more elaborate.Customer Review: Lightweight

I usually wear holes in my pants around the pocket area and I thought this would handle patching...nope. Can't bunch enough material to get at the whole area and it quickly started jamming up. I have no experience using a sewing machine and rely solely on the instructions to route the thread. The machine came in with the thread already routed but I have to change the color. After spending like an hour figuring out why it doesnt work (it will jam and the thread kept coming off the needle), I tried to insert the thread from the opposite side (opposite from the instruction), then it works. But after that, I spend quite some time to adjust the dial to get the upper and bottom seam nice. The battery cover is very hard to open. It's almost like trying to rip it off. I think the latch will break soon.
I want to give it 1 star but since it works nice after the thread is routed properly and the dial is adjusted, I add 1 more star.

I thought I was getting something that could help me with a special project, but it didn't happen. This little machine may not be expensive but there's a good reason for that. It doesn't work worth a d... I didn't expect a computerized machine, but did think it might work better than it did. Also, I paid for express shipping since it came from the same town I live in and it took 4 days to get it (Amazon did reimburse the shipping)and only after I said I would charge them for lost income did they make arrangements to deliver it on a Saturday 3 days after the original delivery was scheduled. No, I'm not a happy person about this, but it wasn't a fortune so I guess it was ok in the long run.Customer Review: Not Impressed

When I received the item, it looked easy enough to operate. However, as I read the instructions, over, and over, and over again trying to understand them, I just became more confused. After I finally got it to work I ended up with another problem... how to re-tread the machine. It had a lower part that had to be re-threaded but you couldn't get your fingers in the tight area in order to complete the task. I mailed it back for a refund.
