I'm a dryer vent cleaning specialist with over 12 years experience in this field. The LintEater system is, by far the best device I've found for cleaning dryer vents - and I've tried more than a few. The instruction manual was created by professionals who REALLY know laundry ducts. They steer the user away from the many errors which can lead to costly repairs and show, step-by-step how to properly and safely clean a dryer vent. The system parts are high quality and durable - even under hard and constant usage. The cost is unbelievably low compared to other products on the market. I used the Lint Eater system with a 12 foot extension (i.e. it went a little over 24 feet into my dryer vent.)
My dryer wasn't drying clothes at all prior to cleaning the vent. After running the Lint Eater through, the dryer worked like new.
The instructions were extremely clear. I read all the negatives reviews posted on Amazon prior to buying. Once I got my Lint Eater, I noticed that the first page of the instruction book had warnings to not do exactly what those reviewers said they had done. Use the product as described and I think you'll be quite happy with the results.

I can't believe how well this system worked. We purchased a Bosch front load dryer that would not work becuase it was sensing the lint in my vent system. We tried everything we could, to no avail. We purchased this cleaning system, it worked EXACTLY, if not BETTER than advertised. We had no problems, and the amount of lint we got out of our vent system was incredible. EVERYONE should clean their lint system on a regular basis, I know I will now. The only problem we had was connecting to our shop vac, but with a little ingenuity on my part, we solved that problem. This product was as advertised. I got the kit plus extensions as my dryer vent runs under my house and it turns out to be a 21' run. I had to run through it a number of times to get it all out, but that is probably because I had some shopvac extensions that came off under the house from trying to suck out the accumulation. Dryer now dries a load in 1 cycle or less.
The thing about this is, if you need it,you need it but it isn't something you need every day, week, month. After I cleared things at my house, I shared it with friends and neighbors so it got more use.

We live in a 2 story house. The dryer vent goes from the downstairs all the way trough the roof on the second story. I have tried various methods to clean my vents with no success. I tried the lint eater and it worked perfectly. The rods seemed too stiff to make the 90 degree turn at the bottom of the vent run. No problem, the rods made the turn with no extra effort. I would highly recommend this system to anyone with a 2 story house. It is much easier if you have 2 people, one on the roof running the drill and another downstairs running a shop vacuum to collect the dust.
