I am VERY pleased with LintEater System and Extension Kit. I had never cleaned my dry vent system---only the dryer opening itself and the hose from the dryer to the wall.
I was prompted to buy LintEater because my dryer was taking too long to dry my clothes. I almost bought a new dryer but decided to give LintEater a try. I am so glad that I did. I removed a full plastic grocery bag of lint from the system, cleaning the line from the outside and from the inside. Now my dryer functions as well as it did when the house was first built 19 years ago.

Used as recommended (make sure to read ALL the instructions) this product did a fantastic job of cleaning the dryer vent, which was FULL of lint. Prior to cleaning, my brand-new high-efficiency dryer needed two cycles to dry clothes. After cleaning, it worked as expected. As an added benefit we lowered the risk of a fire due to a blocked vent. Before purchasing the extra extension kit, try to estimate the distance between the opening and your dryer. I purchased an extension kit unneccessarily; the one that came with the product was sufficient.Customer Review: ******* A great buy!!! *****

Brought the "Linteater kit from Lowes..Kit cost $36.00 and the additional extension rods cost $$ 18.00..Easy to follow instructions and easy to set up and use. You don't have to have a cordless drill..I used an extension cable and It all worked great..I cleaned out a vent pipe that was 24' long..The amount of lint that came out was unreal.Lint along with lots of dog hair!!!..Job took about an hour to do..If you call out a duct cleaning company they charge $150.00 plus..I have the kit for future cleanings,so the savings will be big.Customer Review: Works Great!

This product is great! Our dryer was taking forever to dry clothes. We used this and discovered the vent was blocked by something. So, we used the little metal tool they provide and sure enough, it was a bird's nest. It took a little while to break up the nest but we got it done. Took a total of 2 hours to get the nest out and completely clean the vent. But since the clogged vent was a fire hazard, it was well worth the time. We had no problems with the rods breaking. Well designed, easy to use and absolutely works! The flex shafts are about 3/8" dia and work nicely in 3ft segments. Using a 18V cordless drill it really really works well. Our duct goes about 18ft up through the roof and this worked flawlessly. The extra 12ft in this kit is the way to go giving you 27ft total of rods. The 4in vac attachment is perfect to suck out the duct lint AFTER you run the brush through.
I highly recommend this solution. Your dryer will perform SO MUCH better...
