My dryer was also taking a long time to dry. I used the linteater from the outside first and ran into a dead end. I got the auger out and kept pushing it in and out and I heard the vaccum stop working. I ran inside and there was a blob of wet lint the size of a softball stuck in the end of the vaccum. I used it from the inside also and believe I got everything. My dryer works great now. I do beleive it cost way too much money for what you get though. But, it did fix my problem.Customer Review: No home should be without it

We just moved into a 20-year-old house, and couldn't get our dryer to work. After paying a "professional" to clean the 17-foot dryer vent--to no avail--I ordered the LintEater system. It took me most of a Sunday, and I filled a kitchen-sized garbage bag with nasty junk, but our dryer works great now. This is for anyone with a long dryer vent. Just be sure and get a shop vac if you don't have one. It makes the job so much easier.
I cannot recommend this enough.

What a great product! I bought the basic kit and the extension kit because I have a long run of dryer vent. The vent had never been cleaned in the 17 years since the house was built. I figured I had lint and had been worried about it for a long time, but never knew what to do about it. I thought my only option would be an expensive pro cleaning. Man! I would have never imagined that we would suck so much lint out of that vent. Well worth every penny!Customer Review: Buy This

I was unsure when i ordered this product but it turned out to be much better than expected. It's extremly well made and was very easy to use. The rods go together easily. The brush is well made and stiff. It does the job and the lint is easy to remove. I was amazed at how much lint was in my vent and the dryer works much better now. I highly recommend this product. WOW- This is a great product. Very easy to read instructions (I did not watch the quick start DVD). The packaging is plain cardboard and it makes you wonder about the quality of the product. But once you open it and use it everything is just fine! Very Fast and it makes it's way around corners very well.
I was able to reduce our drying time on towels from 110 min to 70 and on cloths from 70 min to 35.
WELL WORTH THE MONEY!
