If you are struggling to get a good sleep because of the heat, or simply want to cut down on using the air conditioner, the Chillow Plus is an excellent solution. It offers the same great features, in a larger size, as the original Chillow. It has a heavy duty enclosure filled with a special foam/gel that pulls heat away from your head, quickly dropping the surface temperature. Just add water to the fill port, remove the excess air, and place it in your pillow case with the medical-grade cloth face up. Customer Review: Works wonders for me!

I bought my first Chillow product as the Sweet Relief Duo. The little one was great, both sides are cool, and there was no plastic smell. Unfortunately, one of my cats found the larger one great for kneading, and I had to toss it. The little one still works great, I even put it behind my back while I'm watching TV or doing other things in a seated position.
After getting it, I read that it was great for restless leg - which I have. So I tried sleeping with it under my calves, and for the first time in ages, I didn't have muscle contractions and twitching!
So -- I ordered 2 more mini-chillows. These are the blue ones. Now I will say that these had a plastic smell to them which greatly dissipated in a matter of days; so it doesn't bother me. However, the white lettering on the front of the Chillow began peeling off, and I awoke to find little specks of white all over my face and neck. By coincidence, I had been spray painting a screen door the day before, so I just thought I didn't get all the paint off! LOL - but after washing it off and having the same experience the next day and the next, I finally figured out what the problem was. No problem - I am currently using them with a pillow case, and when I get a chance, I'll take a cleaner to it and get the white paint off.
So I am currently using 3 mini-chillows. Yes, the drawback is that after a few hours, it seems to be warm. So I have them stacked by my pillow, ready to go. When one gets warm, I gently toss it on the floor next to the bed, and reach for a fresh one. Problem solved. It works.
Finally - I am ordering the new and improved chillow. My hope is that the cool will last a little longer. If not, it's OK.
I have never had problems with leaking - that I can tell. I found that a few times, I had to add a little water to get the fullness back into it. And as for the pad inside shifting, that has happened a few times, but it easily shakes out.
This is a great product, and one I hope never to be without!
