This knife pretty much completed my life. At the time, my life was burdened with a knife-shaped void, and I was on the hunt. I was looking for more of a companion rather than "just a knife". With the dog shelter charging a whopping $40 and the price of mixed drinks for girls SKY-ROCKETING, I knew that a daily tool for around $10 was my only option. I was looking for a blazen piece of steel forged by the Gods of cutlery. A knife with a utility option on it so amazing that a beast of the sea tried to be tamed with it's name. I was looking for a blade that defined me as a person, and would shape what I was to become in the coming months and years. The S&W CKMAR is the answer to my prayers. The Hawkbill knife grabs hold of it's prey like a mighty talon and then slices with the precision of a surgeon's scalpel, and the Marlin-spikey thing comes in handy when I haven't got any other spikey-pokey things on my person to prod at things that require a good spikey poke.
I give this knife 5-stars only because there is not a sixth-star option.
I can only hope this knife completes your life in the way that has changed mine forever.
