Personally, I really like this offering from Snapware. I had already gotten one last year, and decided to convert all of my holiday storage to these containers and purchased three more this year. They store ornaments really nicely and also my Christmas Stockings and a few plush animals. But, if you have anything that is taller than about 6" (and can't lay it down in the box) it simply won't fit. These are individual levels that snap one on top of the other. I like that they can be stored on top of eachother (if you buy more than one set) but it should be noted they are not air/water tight. I wouldn't store them in a garage for instance... strictly indoor in my opinion.Customer Review: Sturdy enough for my ornaments - 3 years later

I have had these for 3 years. Since most of its time is spent in one spot in the attic, only to be removed 2x a year, they have held up nicely.
My ornaments are heavy. I like the cardboard dividers, that are just enough to keep the more fragile ones from banging together. I agree with some comments about the plastic wearing out over time. I worry about this, too. But we are on our 3rd year of unpacking and repacking these boxes with no problems.
In fact, this year, my 2 year old chose to sit on one while we unpacked the other and they were fine. I recommend these for anyone who needs quality storage.

I've had 3 of these for a few years. They protect well and reduce the space needed to store all those precious Christmas items. No more little individual boxes. The spaces hold those old fashioned large glass balls and the dividers are adjustable so long items fit well. I don't expect to carry heavy items by the handle, I always have one hand under the box when I carry, just in case. I just bought a fourth to hold the kid's ornament collection and have space leftover. The only down side is the price, try to find sales at the holidays if you can.Customer Review: Not for fragile ornaments

I use this to keep my less breakable ornaments. I haven't had any issues with it breaking or cracking, and the snaps have held up just fine, but unless you are individually wrapping your fragile ornaments, it isn't cushioning them at all, and I'd be afraid to put them in there. The dividers are just cardboard, but they work just fine for their purpose, and they can be used to make smaller or larger compartments. I wouldn't add more than the 3 layers to this, even though it's possible to do so.Customer Review: 3.5 - Not perfect, but I still like them better than others.

Like several reviewers have said, these don't stay "together," especially if there are heavy objects in the compartments. The smaller snapware products work much better in that department. Still, I keep buying these for certain types of ornaments because I can see clearly what is in each compartment, hold quite a bit more than you think and they fit nicely on shelves. To keep them more "together," I tie them with twine (like a present....). Works for me.
