I bought this overlay in the hope of improving the limited number of hours I get to sleep each night. For the price it is a great deal (it cost about 10% of what an actual Tempur-Pedic overlay would). The foam itself is not quite what I expected; It does not "melt" in response to body heat nearly as much as the tempur foam. That being said, I am very happy with it. The 4" thickness is a lot, which is great for comfort, but can be a problem when it comes to sheets (it made the bed like 50% thicker). Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone needing improved sleep who (like me) does not have $1000 to spend on a mattress pad. It's like I have a whole new bed! And it is so, so comfy!Customer Review: Sleeps good, but warm.

Item arrived well packaged. Only took a few hours to fully expand to it's correct size. This 4 1/2 inch mattress fit fine on top of our pillowtop mattress. Has helped both of us get a better, more refreshing night's sleep. The only problem is that it retains body heat, so makes my husband quite warm at night. In talking to our friends, we found out that 3 out of 4 of us had some type of memory foam mattress topper. Certainly a much better, less expensive solution when considering a new mattress.

This mattress pad has held up well since we bought it about 2 months ago. It is however almost too thick, I think I would go down an inch in the future. The topper often times has to be readjusted because it starts to shift on the mattress, so make sure you have a deep pocket mattress pad and well fitting sheets to help keep the topper in place. Don't expect to use the cover that comes with the topper for anything more than an extra layer to protect the foam it will not cover the mattress.Customer Review: Beats just a mattress for sure!

Received the product in quick fashion, very happy with that. Had to buy extra big sheets to fit it and have them stay on. Seems to move around on mattress so you need to adjust a lot. Took some time to get my back use to the comfort of this but once it was it is great.
Overall I love this product, just took time to adjust which I figure is normal after sleeping on a not so comfy mattress for years.
I would for sure recommend this product, maybe just a thinner one.
