Customer Review: Oscillating Feature & Comparison to Presto Parabolic Heater

The two dials on the Soleus' base give me the FLEXIBILITY to control duration of the heat (up to 120 minutes), the distribution of the heat (Oscillating), and the temperature in a very SAFE and SIMPLE manner. It helps to have this little dynamo distribute the heat for me; I really like the oscillating feature.
In comparison to the Presto Parabolic electric heater I purchased at Costco, the features I mentioned above, the Soleus far exceeds the Presto. Also, I had to be careful about whether I used the microwave oven or any other devices or I'd be outside resetting the circuit breaker. The Soleus is energy efficient; I can have all my ovens, and more, turned on while using it.

I cannot stand gas heating; too expense and drys out the air, now who wants that? Welcome to the smart heating with the Soleus Air MS-09 Oscillating Radiant Heater. Why heat your entire home and waste money, went you can be warmer by only heating the parts of your home you actually use.
More importantly, I am FINALLY warm, without drying out the air in my home. One thing I have never like with gas heat is it takes all the humidity out of the air. What's the problem? Winter months are dry to begin with and your skin begins to quickly feel it.
By using the Soleus Air MS-09 Oscillating Radiant Heater, it saves me money and my skin...HIGHLY Recommend!

I have found this heater to be almost too good. I don't have a lot of space near my desk and on only the 400W level it almost feels like it's burning my leg! My desk is right under a tall window and my legs get cold but I've found if I point the heater towards the wall, the radiant heat bounces off and keeps my legs reasonably warm. I usually only use it first thing in the morning while my office heats up with an oil-filled heater. I plan on taking this heater home for my wife and daughter to try out as they are always cold. The unit has a timer that is handy and it also swivels. The construction seems to be of average quality.Customer Review: Absolutely thrilled!

FANTASTIC PRODUCT. Need I say more? I agree with everything the other five-star reviewers have written.
I received mine today and plugged it in... Its like a miniature sun in your home, its super quiet, extremely light to carry, efficient, the oscillating feature is just great, its very modestly price for how good it is & above all, its heats like a dream, I have not even used the 800W yet as im still loving the 400W.
The glow it emits is just so calming, just like standing infront of direct sunlight on a cold day... heats you beautifully.
I could not be happier.

This heater is wonderful and I recommend it highly. Before we got this, we had one that just blew hot air and made the room very dry. It used a lot more power and made noise. This one is quiet and doesn't use as much power or dry out the room as much. We don't need to run the humidifier when we use it, and we always did with the other one. It also radiates light so it's a good night light but can be distracting sometimes. I usually like it because it reminds me of the sun which I miss dreadfully during the winter months. If you need a space heater this is definitely the kind you should buy!
