We've been using these heaters for 3 or 4 years. If you need a small, safe, electric heater to warm you up, this one does the job. Instead of turning up the thermostat to warm all the empty space in the room, just put the soleus on low setting a few feet away from you, and you'll feel like you're at the beach. Well, not really, but you'll notice the similarity. It lowers our oil bill and hardly makes a dent in the electricity bill. Those cold, winter nights in Maine are now a lot more bearable, and summer doesn't seem so far away. It is also cat and dog approved.Customer Review: Awesome space heater

If you are looking for a space heater to heat up your room, this is not your product. This is not a "room heater" it is a "space heater." It will sufficiently heat up a SPACE in your room. I use it under my desk (only when I am sitting at my desk, of course) and I only need to use the 400Watt setting. It gets too hot even, sometimes. A great energy saver compared to those 1500Watt systems that don't even heat as well. I don't use a house heater and live in the cold city of San Francisco. This is the best heater hands down. It is EASY to use, does what is says it will do and is Energy Efficient. It gets very hot on low and the range of motion with the low swing oscillation is great. It is QUIET!!!! And the best part is no blowing air. And it adds a nice glow to a room. When I set the timer, the heat remains for a long time after it shuts off. I researched, purchased,returned and used almost every type of heater from the vornado to a holmes...This one is the best..it is a keeper.Customer Review: Instant Heat

We had a holmes radiant heater some years ago. After it stopped working we went without for a couple of years. We seen this and gave it a try. Wonderful replacement for our old heater. Heats our living room about 15x15 in a few minutes. Puts out instant heat when turned on, great to stand in front of.
Works great with our substandard wiring, many of the other fan heaters would blow our fuse box, this here works on less watts and better output of heat.

Our heater broke last year and we didn't want to spend a fortune to fix it. We purchased a few space heaters to use while we were at home and this one turned out to be the best. It doesn't get hot to the touch so we didn't have to worry about our dogs running into it. It can heat up a room pretty quick. The only negative that I can say about it is it is too bright. It's like being in the room with the sun. Don't try to sleep with it on.
