About 15 yrs ago, I was working for a distributor who sold shoe supplies to shoe stores, and I bought a can safe for a brand of instant spray shine that we sold. I took it out to the warehouse and asked the manager with 20+ yrs experience to tell me what was different about my can. He couldn't! I specifically wanted something to travel with, and this is still working great for me. If I leave jewelry, I just wrap it in a tissue to avoid any sounds and toss it into my suitcase and no one has ever even picked it up. Occasionally I even tuck it into my husband's dress shoes when we leave the room. Mostly I use it for extra costume jewelry and the key to my laptop's safety lock so I don't have to worry about dropping the key on an amusement park ride. I had seen cans of soup, etc., but I wanted something that would make sense I would have in a room on vacation-not something odd to bring along! By the way, I made sure my son knows if anything ever happens to me be sure to look for my extry money I keep in it when I am not travelling.
