I'm a 4'11" petite lady who does a lot of packing and shipping. I purchased this hand truck to help me move heavy merchandise in and out of my garage. I scouted around and found the best-priced hand truck on Amazon and decided to order it. I received my platform hand truck next business day after ordering it!
Initially, I couldn't decide between this hand truck and the folding truck with a steel noseplate since I ship 37-inch high boxes frequently. Finally, I decided that this model would be the logical choice for now since I also lug around a lot of staging equipment which will conveniently sit on this platform hand truck.
It's the easiest thing to assemble - and I'm no handyman! It comes with everything pre-assembled except for the wheels which screws on with a wrench. Make sure to screw on the 2 swivel wheels on the front and the 2 steady wheels on the back, and you're ready to go!
What you'll need: An adjustable wrench (10-15 in)

I bought this to move some heavy boxes out of our bedroom. I just had a fusion in my lower back and am not allowed to pick up anything heavy. By tilting a box and getting the truck under the edge I could then push it up on the truck and move it. Worked beautifully. Worked so well I am now using it to move laundry baskets from our bedroom to our washer and from the dryer to the living room for folding and then into the bedroom to be put away. I do not have a laundry room. The product fits through the door ways perfectly and is smooth and easy to use. It was easy for my husband to put together for me and folds down and slides under a tall bed or into a closet with ease. Love it.

After reading the reviews for this platform truck, I was a little hesitant to make the purchase. However, I set up and sell at craft shows and needed something sturdy and small that would fit in my car and not take up valuable product space. This cart was perfect. It is very sturdy, can hold several boxes of heavy items and folds into the trunk of my car. I do wish the handle could be extended to be taller - I am short and found I had to bend over to move the cart. My husband is 6' tall and would have found an adjustable handle very helpful. But, overall, the cart worked wonderfully and I know we will get a lot of use out of it. I think there may be a second one purchased in the future!Customer Review: Fantastic!!!

What a great product at an amazing price! The folding platform truck is top quality (sturdy steel) and easy to use. I love that 2-wheels swivel, and all the wheels roll smoothly. The handle is very secure, yet folds up and down easily and compactly. The platform is the perfect size for household use or small loads. I originally purchased it for all my school PTA work: carrying cases of water bottles and drinks from my car to the school for teacher receptions, and boxes of school supplies for distribution days. But, I find I have so many other uses for it too. If you have frequent heavy loads to transport, is well worth the money.Customer Review: The little cart that could . . . .!

I have bought four of these wonderful 'flat-bed' hand carts and may get yet another one!. Two of them have been for myself, the other two were for friends. We have all raved over them many times, and I definitely could not accomplish what I can if I had to give them up. I use one in the garage for moving all types of items and take the trash to the curb every week, plus bring it out to the car after grocery shopping and load everything onto it. The other one 'lives' inside the house and moves everything from books, laundry, all manner of items from place to place when necessary - - I can't imagine living without them any more.
