The Splash Guard is easy to 'install', if you call 'caulking' an installation. It looks good and does its job very well. My baseboards/floors are DRY now, which makes me happy. The installation insert calls for caulk adhesive, which I used, but I think I'd go with a high-end silicone caulk instead, the adhesive is just messy and hard to clean up. Also, the splash guards do work when your walls are not absolutely 90degree angled (my house is from the 40's), just add more silicone to the bottom or the wall part. The bottom part of the splash guard is smooth, while the wall part is hollow. Not so great for the silicone (or rather the waste of it) and the sturdiness (I assume), but it is durable enough for its purpose.
I'd buy it again and would recommend it. :)
