I have had no issues with this filter, and there is DEFINITELY a noticable decrease or elimination in chlorine smell during my showers. I can take a deep breath without feeling like I have to cough a little. I haven't really noticed a difference with my hair, but possibly my skin is less dry. Installation was easy. I got the white version because I have brushed nickel fixtures and thought the chrome would look funny. Honestly, now that I have it installed, it doesn't matter to me what color it is - no one is really looking at it and it works so dang good that I'm proud of it!

I have been using this filter for over a year, and I can tell a difference in the smell of the water. It is cleaner and no chlorine aroma anymore in my water. There is only and very slight slow down of the water pressure. But for some people who is having a problem with their water pressure, maybe its your shower heard, try replacing it with a better one. Or sometimes maybe the stuff in the filter is too squeezed up, slowing down the pressure, try removing the filter and shaking it a few time, or even reversing the front/back end occasionally.Customer Review: Good shower filter.

It seemed to keep the yellow deposit from accumulating in my shower walls. This is the second shower filter we purchased. The first one as purchased about a year ago, after we moved into this house, which had the bathroom redone. My shower walls remain almost spotless after one year of use--We barely even needed to do any cleaning for the shower walls, just to rinse the wall once a while after shower.
Very good product.

I could feel a big improvement in my skin and hair in less than a week. I had a different and perhaps better known brand of filter before that cracked upon installation. I'm definitely sticking with this one. There is no discernible difference in water pressure. It's sturdy, unobtrusive, and a real bargain, especially since you can flip the filter around to get longer use out of it. Highly recommended.Customer Review: No more itching, hair softer!!

Chlorine & other chemicals in the water cause itching, hardness and some believe cancer (in the long run). Getting that crap out of the bathing/showering water is the best thing I've ever done. Your skin absorbs as much water as you drink in a day. Filter your drinking, cooking and bathing water otherwise you become the filter. This filter lasts for apprx one year.
