Tools and Hardware Reviews of SteamFast SF-407 1500-Watt Fabric SteamerCustomer Review: Great steamer for the price!! Summary: 5 Stars
I got my first steamer in 2005 and have never gone back to ironing. So much better! The clothes last longer, safer to use. Less chances of accident burns and also protect your clothes. And this steamer is the best! I have used more expensive steamer but this one is so much better. It requires less maintenance. It does not get water build ups like many do. I use soft cloth to lightly clean out calcium build ups while refilling the water bucket. It takes less than even 30 secs to heat up and the steam is strong enough to even remove creases from cotton clothes. Love it!!
Customer Review: Works just as well as more expensive brands Summary: 5 Stars
My wife has a Tobi steamer that she bought at Costco. I have a SteamFast SF-407 that I purchased at Amazon for half the price of a Tobi sold on Amazon. They both work well, but I just don't see why the Tobi should cost more. The SteamFast comes with a pad that allows you to safely steam clothes edges without risking being burned by hot steam. Additionally, it has a much larger water reservoir so that you don't have to add water in the middle of an ironing job. The Tobi is "portable", but I don't need to carry it around in the house, so I don't see this as a "feature".
Customer Review: Really works! Summary: 5 Stars
I read the reviews of all of the steamers Amazon had to offer so decided to invest in this brand. This steamer is ready in less than 10 seconds. It takes the wrinkles out of everything from jeans, to silks and mens shirts too! We no longer need to send our shirts to the cleaners. The tank is easy to fill just lift off of the bottom (it's instantly detachable) and unscrew the top to pour water. I've never had to go back to using a iron and ironing board. YAY! It will change your life and is just as professional as department store steamers.
Customer Review: Great item, good price. Summary: 5 Stars
I had bought a steamer a couple of years ago for almost $200, and it wasn't as nice as this unit. To be honest I think they all work about the same, the biggest issue I have found with most of my steamers is that the pole to hang garments tends to break or start sliding (pole stops gripping). This one is made well, the poles seem to be made well, and the steam comes out at a constant amount, I haven't had any problems with dripping (that can ruin silk). I reccomend this to anyone looking for a great product that isn't completely overpriced.
Customer Review: Love this steamer! Summary: 5 Stars
This is the first fabric steamer I ever purchased. While researching what to buy, friends warned me of various products and how ineffective they were. No one knew of this product, I read the reviews and took a chance. I am so glad I did. This steamer meets my needs exactly. I needed a steamer to get out the wrinkles in my fabric roman shades. Perfect! I then used it on my husband's cotton polo shirts- Perfect! Then on my cotton t-shirts- Perfect. That's about all I tried to date. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.
