Rubber body keeps sharpening stones from sliding around the benchtop during honing. Chrome plated hardware resists rust when using waterstones. Adjusts from 5 1/2" to 9". Stone not included.

Customer Review: A must have for Shapton waterstones

The Shapton water stones that I own come in convenient plastic cases that are intended to be used as bases for the stones. However, the rubber feet on the bottom of the cases are so small that, once they become wet, it is too easy to move the case when sliding a blade back and forth along the edge of the stone. The Steelex Sharpening stone holder takes care of the problem at a reasonable cost.
