I am on a private water system that is managed by a member of the system. The water has a high sulphur smell/taste (bacteria related not a concern of Health Monitoring Org)and clorination is not scientifically controlled. The result is that your hair feels like straw after a shower. I installed the filter (10 minutes total time - including the unboxing and reading instructions). After my first shower my hair was soft did not feel dry and damaged. I can't believe I waited so long. This product is the BOMB! Buy it!

It does sound like the people that had technical problems didn't slow down and follow the directions. I moved a few exits down the highway and found my new water supply to be very hard. Sticky, brown scum that I had to scrub off at least weekly. This product saves me from all that; I've now gone 3 months without seeing any of this scum. Also, I hadn't used a versatile head like this before which provided a nice rhythm on my stiff neck. I was skeptical with the price initially, now I'm signing up for regular replacements.Customer Review: I LOVE IT!!!

We just moved into a new apartment and the water here is so awful. The PH is way off balance. I always felt that I still had conditioner in my hair and soap still on my skin when I got out of the shower. It was awful. Anyway, so I finally decided to fix it so I was searching for a filter and this is the only one that fixed the PH out of like 10 I found on the internet. Ever since we've had it, it is like the showers I used to have while still living with my parents. PERFECT! I am so happy with Aquasana Shower Filter. I live in a building where the water is so harsh and sometimes discolored. As a consequence, my skin shortly turned dry and I continuously got skin problems. I even thought about buying drinking water to clean my face everyday. Now that I have found Aquasana, I feel so happy. It does what it promises. I could feel the smoother skin by just using it from the first time. And it did feel like showering in natural spring water. The filter does what it says. I smell no chlorine, my skin feels clean and soft (compared to my regular city water), and the filter lasts me (single guy) about 8 months. Changing the filter is a breeze - just unscrew it, empty it in your toilet, and dispose. The new one takes under a minute to rinse - screw the new one in, turn the water on and capture the water in a bucket. The shower head is nice too; it has a few basic settings.
I enthusiastically recommend the Aquasana shower filter.
