Our shower water used to smell very sharply of chlorine and I would actually feel like my skin was burned after a shower. This really disturbed me because I had read that hot showers in chlorine water increase your risk of cancer. We got the Aquasana filter and the smell and the burning sensation were completely eliminated. I felt that the price of the unit was very reasonable for the peace of mind and the better shower experience, and the shipping was prompt and the customer service quite satisfactory.Customer Review: I love my shower!

This is the product of the year! I work nights, on my feet. I can't wait to get home after an exhausting night to take a shower. My hair and skin are so soft now, I can't believe the difference. Living in Florida I have a lot of visitors, they have even noticed the difference! I also have the countertop water system, both are easy to install and I don't have to worry about remembering when to change the filters, the company sends them to me every 6 months. Doesn't change water pressure at all but it DOES help those with chlorine allergies/sensitivities, acne, asthma, eczema and more. Our family has been using the shower filter for a number of years. It is effective in filtering both city water (chlorine) and/or well-water (iron). It works equally well with both hard and/or soft water. Easy to install and maintain. The Aquasana Filter has made a great difference in the texture of my hair. My hair has always been dry/brittle and I have spent tons of money on salon products to try and make my hair healthier. I've only been using the Aquasana Filter for two weeks now and my hair is so soft and so much healthier looking than its ever been. I had been getting headaches almost every day for a few months, tried everything I could think of to figure out why, stopped drinking caffeine and a lot of other things, then I realized my water had begun to be treated heavily with chlorine, I noticed that when I didn't shower for a day or so when I was away , no headache. I decided that the chlorine was giving me headaches and bought the aquasana, I haven't gotten a headache since it really works well!!
