Tools and Hardware Reviews of Suncast DB8000B Deck Box with WheelsCustomer Review: Just what I wanted Summary: 5 Stars
Getting tired of walking back and forth to the garage for the garden tools you forgot? Or storing bird seed inside where it gets messy? Zoning laws forbid a storage shed (which can be unsightly anyway)? Me, too. Until I found this deckbox (the least expensive I found online, too). Assembly is literally a "snap" without tools. It glides anywhere I want it. It holds more than I thought it would. And even those pesky squirrels and racoons have yet to figure out how to get at the birdseed inside. I look forward to wheeling it to the garage come winter and not having to pack then unpack my garden supplies next year. Go for it - you'll like it.
Customer Review: Useful on the patio Summary: 5 Stars
At one point several months ago Amazon offered this item at $69.00 with no tax or shipping. That was the best that could be done for a product of this type on Amazon. While I hated to pay that much, it has served its purpose on my patio. It really is easy to assemble because I, the mechanically challenged, did it in about 15 minutes; most could probably do it in less time. Okay, part of that time was taking it out of the heavily packaged box it came in. It looks nice too; I wanted the green accent because my patio furniture and umbrella are also green. The plastic is durable, and I expect this to last several years.
Customer Review: Great Purchase, Arrived Overnight Summary: 5 Stars
First of all, I can't believe how quickly this arrived - less than 24 hours. I am so glad I bought it. Assembly was a cinch, as long as I followed the directions, and I recommend wearing shoes when you do it as a well-placed heel stomp here and there is necessary when they say "apply pressure". The lid is definitely the hardest thing to snap on, I can see where people get frustrated with it; sitting on it helps! Once it's together, it is a great addition to any back yard or garage. It's light enough to move easily and sturdy and big enough to hold all of our outdoor toys. I would definitely recommend it to others.
Customer Review: Good quality Summary: 5 Stars
I received my box today and it was really easy to assemble, considering that I am eight months pregnant. I did miss a little part but I went on the Suncast website and they will send it right away. I can also get any part that is broken on their website (if there was any) and it is under warranty, I do not have to pay anything. It seems very sturdy and holds all my son's outside toys and has space for more. I am not so sure how waterproof it is but only time will tell. I will definately buy from them again.
Customer Review: Our patio's neater with a place to put the toys... Summary: 5 Stars
We bought the Deck Box specifically to use as an outdoor toy box for our children. As such it is everything we wanted. The plastic seems strong enough to last awhile and yet it's light enough to move around. The lid isn't too heavy and won't hurt little fingers too badly if they're caught. Assembly gets highest marks, my 6 year old and I had it done in under 5 minutes. Pieces are clearly marked and it literally snaps together. We're considering another for a separate area of the play yard.
