This unit is great in every way, except that for some reason the cover doesn't fit as perfectly as I'd like. It doesn't let in rain or snow or anything, which is really the most important part, but it would have been a nice finishing touch for the cover to fit as perfectly as possible. Other than that, it's fantastic. It holds all of our pool supplies, and other summertime items (towels, citronella, etc). This deck box is proving to be excellent. I was torn between this and a Rubbermaid model, and I chose this on the basis of user reviews that said it is easy to set up and waterproof--plus it was cheaper. It has turned out to be excellent, with no problems setting it up and no leaking even after two feet of snow melted. I would definitely recommend it. The free shipping was also a big factor for an item this large. It arrived very promptly.Customer Review: dependable little box

i don't know about the people who complained, but it seems that they purchased this box for it's price, rather than look at the dimensions to match their seat cushions. they would have been happier buying the right product the first time.this box is capable of holding all my pool supplies and yard stuff. the only thing i think would make it better was the ability to lock it (just because I keep my pool chemicals in it).

I recently received and put together my new Suncast deck box. I have a new deck and a new lawn in my yard. I can now, finally, organize my yard "stuff" so it's not all over the place. What impressed me the most (aside from the sturdiness of the material the deck box is made of) is that the directions were well written and easy to follow. I have really been happy with my deck box. I had the original design and it lasted for years. I finally replaced it of this model that has the wheels and again it has been worth every penny. The inside of the box stays dry, there is lots of storage, the wheels allow you to move the box around easily so you can sweep behind the box or move it.
This is a great value!
