I bought this evaporative cooler in hopes of keeping my townhome cooler during the hottest parts of the day. It works beautifully! I am not allowed to have a window air conditioner, and did not have the funds to get a decent portable air conditioner (let alone central air). When I saw this unit and read all the positive reviews, I decided to try it. Although it does not create the same freezing cold air an air conditioner does, it does create comfortbaly cool air. Luckily I live in a dry climate, so the added humidity is a bonus. It has many speed levels, the option to swing (or rotate) where the air goes, air cooling versus just fan, sleep timer, and remote control. For the money I paid, I am VERY happy with this product and highly recommend it... it does exactly what it says.Customer Review: Works the way it should

This is not an air conditioner and if one thinks
that they are going to have an A/C comfort zone level
with this Evaporative Air Cooler then please think again.
I am using the cooler in a all open living/dinning/kitchen(galley)
room which has vaulted ceiling and ceiling fans.
It has worked very well,so much so it has lowered the temp by 4 degrees and keeps the A/C from recycling on and off.
The cooler is made very well and does push out effective cool air(not cold as an A/C would).
When adding ice you can feel the temp difference in the air flow.
This being an Evaporative Air Cooler, it does do, what it is suppose to do.Nice product and Inox Outlet shipped, handled the ordered in a great manner

I read the reviews on Amazon before I brought this Air Cooler and all of the good ones were right on! This is not an Air Conditioner but it is a great Air Cooler and it directs cool air into the room. I live in San Diego CA and there are some days that are hot and dry where this cooler works wonderfully to cool down the temperature in the room. My cat loves it and I am very glad I bought it. I really have to thank all the positive reviews I read about this cooler because I probably would not have tried it at all without the spot on positive reviews listed here. It's also a great deal. I have a friend who brought a similiar cooler for a much higher price tag. I have no regrets and I'm using the Cooler almost every day this summer.Customer Review: A/C / Humidifier

We have a "mother in law" type home and our side gets very hot in the FL summer months.
Was not sure if this product was what I was looking for based on the reviews, but I gave it a shot and we love it!
It takes the temp down a lot on our side leaving other side of the house evenly cooled. (and not freezing!) It does what we wanted it to do. I also love the humidifier as I have very dry eyes and while it is cooling our side of the house, it also humidifies.
The only down side is you can't clean the tray or whatever holds the water. (in a humidifier there is usually a slimy substance at the bottom of tank that must be cleaned out) (maybe this cleans itself?) (I'll keep looking!!)

I actually bought this for my 20 pound rabbit since I had to move him from inside the house into a large hutch in the garage. The unit is sitting in front of an open window and does quite well. He lies in front of it pretty much all day letting the cooler air blow on him. I would agree that it produces air about 10 degrees cooler than the air surrounding it, and it really needs to be blowing directly on you to feel the cooling effect. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that needs a little cooling. It is better than a fan due to it blowing colder air. It does what it should for the price and my bunny and I are quite pleased. We live in the Dallas, Texas area where it gets humid so you can even use it in the south.
