I purchased the heater for the basement and it works better than I expected. I never thought that it would heat the whole basement but it does. I love it! It has a thermostat that keeps the room at exactly the temp I want. I also love that if it gets knocked over it shuts off. The remote is great I can turn it off or adjust the temp from any where in the room. I am definitely getting another one for upstairs.Customer Review: Wonderful heater

This heater is great! I set the temp at 70 degrees while I'm gone...come home and my bedroom is the perfect temperature. It's also very quiet so that when it kicks on while I'm sleeping, it never wakes me up. I love that it comes with a remote so that I can change the temperature while I'm in bed. This unit performed as we had hoped, being we had never owned a space heater there was some hesitation on the purchase. We are using the heater in our bedroom. It has all the features we wanted. It occupies a small space, is quite, has a remote control and rotates.
It enables us to keep the overall temperature of the house low while enjoying a warmer bedroom.
I would recommend it without reservation.

After several weeks of use I have no complaints. In fact, I plan to purchase another unit for my basement. It probably won't heat the whole basement, but it should take the chill off. I have not received a recent electric bill so; I'm not sure how much the one unit added to my heating costs.
