This product works exactly as described. Brightness is amazing for such a little lamp which is battery operated. I don't think that u should spect stadium lights from this, but for closets or as a flashlight it is more than enought. Keep in mind that this is not a fluorescent lamp, so light flows in streamlike form (focused mainly directly in front), so don't think u'll get a large area iluminated directly. It'll be great if they would advertise the dimensions of the lamp, but size is confortable enough.Customer Review: Perfect for dark entry way

I've been using the Dot It for a year. I put it up on my inside front door because the foyer has no light or heat, so I needed something that could stand up to some extreme temps. It works like a dream. Enough light to see the keyhole, find my keys and to see the black cat if he's sneaked out. The batteries are still going strong, and it has survived sub-zero temps and over 100 degrees with no problem. This is not a reading lamp, it is a little light, but if that's what you need, it's perfect!Customer Review: Great, if you have correct expectations

This is a small LED light. Clearly it is not intended as wide-area task lighting, or to replace a regular lightbulb. Also, no adhesive will re-stick (or stay stuck for long) unless it is applied to clean, non-greasy surfaces. With those expectations properly set, this light is a good buy: it's well made and very useful. My primary use? Several set around the house during power outages, instead of using candles. They are bright enough to read by during that power outage, as well.Customer Review: LOVE THEM!!

I love these things! Where do I use them? I have one on the side of my nightstand, out of sight, but much easier to reach in the middle of the night than the table lamp, which is quite a reach. I like the fact that they can go on a vertical surface, and therefore don't take up any room on a useable surface. Also the light is not glaring, so it doesn't wake anyone else up, but gives a nice glow. Ordering more today.Customer Review: Perfect nitelite

I use this as a night-light and I love it. Great for going to the bathroom at night as the light doesn't hurt your eyes, yet is bright enough to illuminate the area around you. Surprisingly powerful, lasts forever, small, light and compact. I also have one stored inside my motorcycle seat. (Not great for closets without a bulb - as the light is focused and does not radiate outwards at a very close distance.)
