Pros:
-No need to call an electrician. No WIRES
-Battery last a long time.
-You can stick it anywhere you want, great for those odd places where it is impossible to put a regular light.
-Great momentary night light
-Simple operation. Just tap it on, tap it off.
Cons:
-Not a lot of light. Just enough so you can see where you are going.
-Ghostly color of light. Hard to recognize colors of things that is lit.

Exactly as advertised, once you get them out of the torturous plastic packaging, they stick easily to surfaces, come off without noticeable harm and cast a useful amount of light. The only down side is aforementioned packaging and the fact that while LED lighting has advanced it's still not truly a white light. The blue tint to the light can be distracting if you're expecting the yellow light of an incandescent or the white of outdoor light.Customer Review: Some pluses and minuses...

For the most part, I really like my DOT-it lights. The light on these is bright enough for me to see all the way to the back of my large closet. I was happy that they already came with batteries, so I was able to use them right away. Unfortunately, you have to unstick it and unscrew three screws on the back of the light in order to replace the batteries. Also, I ordered the lime colored ones, and they are really an icky bile color.Customer Review: Handy little light

I bought one for use as a dome light in an older Jeep Wrangler. It sticks well to the fiberglass roof and puts out enough light to adequately illuminate the driver & passenger seats. It includes a magnet that sticks well to the body panels, but you have to take the battery cover off in order to use it. The battery cover is also a pain to remove without pulling it off the surface it's stuck to.Customer Review: DOT-it

This light is perfect for small spaces. The 3 LED's are bright enough to illuminate my motorcycle luggage cases, and I installed one in the glovebox of my Vespa. The lights attach with a self adhesive backing allready applied to the backside. The only problem is when it is time to change the bateries, you must remove the light from the surface, thus destroying the adhesive layer.
