And with an additional outlet on the side, the SA110 lets you plug in a second device that isn't controlled by the timer. Easy to Program
The Sylvania SA110 Timer features a round dial of gray pins that are easily programmable depending on your needs. Make sure the master switch is on and simply depress the pins that match the times you want your appliance to turn on. Set the master switch back to timer mode, and your appliance will turn on and off automatically. Thanks to the timer's non-removable pegs, you won't have to worry about losing or replacing timer pins.

I did a lot of thinking and looking and came to the conclusion this Sylvania SA110 will be the best choice. Having had a manual commercial Intermatic Timer for ages I was familiar on its pros & cons.
I believe this one will last many many years proven by a design that's been around 50 some years.
The PRO is: It allows 15Amp draw which covers large appliances in case the future demands it.
The pins are non-removable - I remember I had to remove mine on the older ones and it was a pain, and the one which had to be removed got lost somewhere. Having a cover for the dialer keep out dust and dirt. It's easy to use and set time. It has an extra non-timed outlet, very convenient.
It's decimal noise is almost zero. The sound is lost after 1 feet distance. I have to put my ear to it to hear its workings. My old Intermatic Timer I could hear 15 feet away. It doesn't require batteries as a digital does. Batteries go dead, cost money and could become corrosive damaging the unit.
The CON is, it may get louder with age. Another con the price went up since I bought mine at $11.22
Can't believe it, - talk about speedy shipping, Ordered 22nd Received 24th.
I was thinking at first to buy a digital timer, but from so many negative reviews plus my own experience of my digital kitchen timer only lasting 4 or 5 years, I decided this one will be the best choice.
My Intermatic make lasted me 40 years. I'll be dead when this one breaks.
