Tools and Hardware Reviews of Trademark 24 - bin Parts Storage Rack TraysCustomer Review: Pretty bad, but does the job. Summary: 2 Stars
The entire metal shelving unit is made of VERY thin sheet metal - honestly, about the weight of four or five sheets of tin foil. When my unit arrived, most of the shelves were bent horribly out of shape, especially around the edges that have the screw holes. Luckily, I'm not a strong guy, but I was able to bend them back into the correct shape with my bare hands, didn't even need a set of pliers. Everything is low-quality bent sheet metal. Be sure to put the heavy stuff on the bottom, it has no weight to it and will tip over. The shelves are also a very poor design - I guess they know how flimsy the metal is, so they include L-brackets to help hold the shelves up (why they don't just permanently attach these to the shelves, I can't guess). I did, finally, manage to get it put together. The bins are OK - not exactly "HUGE" and not yellow either. The top and bottom 3 or 4 in the stack of 24 were deformed pretty badly, but they still hold stuff. The bins are also free to slide around on the shelves - it's just a frame with 3 shelves, which have lips at the front to hold the bins on. If I could go back and re-do it, I'd just buy a few bins and some wood - I could build a shelf out of plywood and 2x4's in less time than it took me to bend the parts back to the shape they should be.
