It can crimp, it can cut, an also has a little space where you can strip your cable without damaging the threads (apart from the cutter), just perfect.
It has a mechanism to prevent damage over the connectors, allowing just the necessary pressure over them. If it isn't enough pressure, no problem, you can adjust it, it has a little knob.

This is a great product to cap your cat5 cables. I make cables everyday and you will like the speed of this tool as an all in 1 item. I go through usually 1 a year. Keep in mind that I use this tool ALOT! This tool should never cost you over $20.00. You will like the sturdy structure of this tool.

This product not only met my expectations, but exceeded them. Buying a 10' cable would have cost me $10, now with the cable I already had, and some ends I also bought, I have been able to make them so easy.
Shipping was very fast, had it about 3 days after I ordered it. Very happy with the purchace.

I bought this crimper to use in replacing the RJ45 plugs on ethernet cables that lose their plastic retaining clip. When the cable slips out of its housing, it drives me nuts. I've used the crimper to fix one 14 foot cable, and based on the cost of a new 14 foot cable, the crimper has already paid for itself.
