I highly recommend running this product in pairs or more. The actual 'coverage' area seems to be right around 400sq ft. I can't say that it has gotten rid of 100% of our pest problems. In our basement we had serious issues with spiders and crickets. It has driven off most of them. Only one or two remain. The other unit had a problem when I plugged it into one breaker (string of outlets), it never ran properly. Putting it on a different outlet/breaker seemed to help. I'm not convinced that this unit works well against rodents. In the ceiling directly above the unit is where I seem to have gotten the most activity from mice. A third unit may help out in that end of the house, but then that would mean the effective area for this gizmo is barely big enough for a 10 ft sq room. While it seems to have moved their location of activity, it has not, in my opinion, been effective against rodents at all.
I would still recommend it, my situation may be unique. With rodents, I would suppliment with poision.
