They absorb vibrations caused by appliances; this reduces noise and structural damage caused by these vibrations. By using cutting edge polymer technology they also reduce walking without using any adhesives. Original Silent Feet anti-vibration pads have consistently out preformed all other vibration absorbing materials on the market. All appliance manufactures recommend using a pad to absorb vibration from washers; these pads meet and exceed OEM specifications. These pads work on tile, concrete, wood, vinyl, linoleum, stone, and low-pile carpet floors. Use caution on carpet as these pads may cause slight discoloration after extended contact. Great product I had previously order a set of black Silent Feet for my machine at first I was skeptical about them I wasn't sure any pad would make the difference but these little guys do a great job at reducing the noise caused by washing machine vibration. I ordered the blue set for me to add a little color and the others for some friends, Thanks a lot product works great keep up the good work
