Customer Review: Exactly what I needed

I have 2 rooms where I spend most of my time, that had poor HVAC supply. Some idiot placed nearly a Z bend in the elastic tube air ducts. Installed this booster w/ a pocket knife in 5 minutes. I have already seen a significant dent in my electric bill.
Noise of the unit is moderate to high, at least for the flow output. However for short distance runs on HVAC tubes, it is extremely efficent, and the cost savings and comfort levels are amazing.
Note, you NEED, I repeat NEED a ready electrical source. I was lucky and had a dedicated swith in a bathroom I am remodeling. The manufacturer should supply a mounting bracket and electrical screw encasements. Not sure of their technical names, but they basically safely tie togeather the electrical connections. You buy them for a couple of bucks a bag at your local hardware or grocery store.
The manufacturer makes a wider diameter unit, but if you are having air flow issues, most likely you need a 6" diameter.
Could definitely be manufactured and equiped better, but 5 stars becuase it has already paid for itself in electricity savings in 2 months.
Can not attest to the longevity of the unit, but I am going to buy another just to replace it. The cost savings are that high in my situation.
