First off - if you need this kit quickly, you're in luck. I received this kit within 3 days of ordering, on standard shipping no less. So it's either fortune or the seller is on their toes, I tend to believe the latter.
It arrived well packaged arranged in a blister pack, you'll have to find your own tool case or bag. No problem, I had an extra tool bag so I could keep it all organized and not lose all the small pieces.
As far as quality. I wonder what is the issue with everyone else. The tools work as they are supposed to, I've fixed two watches and changed one battery. No big deal I know, but no hassles, either. None of the tools look cheaply made. The grey block holds the watches fine. The hammer is double tipped, metal on one side, rubber mallet on the other, know which to use and don't bang too hard, your watches will love you for it. The pins for removing links look extremely sturdy, I even bent a watch pin on a Fossil with one. Again, finesse is your goal, you're not working on a big block Chevy, these are watches and we're using watch repair tools.
I also like to change watch bands on my Suunto watches depending on where I'm going to use them. This kit has a little forked tool to press back the spring bars that works really well. I changed a band and back again in under 5 minutes.
Oh, there's some mention about a lack of instructions? The face of the package has a web site to go to for instructions. I don't think I'll need it, but it might be good to review for watch repair tips. All of the tools are clearly marked and labeled on the blister package (as if it weren't obvious what most of the tools were, i.e. pliers, hammer, screwdriver, etc.).
The biggest gain I can see with this kit is that I can now buy those odd watches and not have to worry about removing links or replacing batteries or finding a jeweler to do the work as I can do most simple fixes myself.
