This steamer allows you to sit in front of it while pressing. Top, quality sweaters, such as angora and cashmere come out as if they have been prefessionally done, with no iron lines. Pants press beautifully leaving no marks on the fabric. The creases are the most impressive part of the pants.
Two major things are saved...time and money....when using this product.
I brought it home and now my skeptical wife is using it on all of her finer clothing including suit jackets, so as not to worry about potential harm from the drycleaners, nor the friction of movement from conventional steam irons which many times leaves shiny areas.
Great product...reliable....quality made.....simple to use.

If your looking for a professional dry cleaning steam press then this
is not what your looking for. For that, you'll have to pay WAY more.
Now with that said, this thing puts your hand held steam iron to shame.
I'll admit, it took some time for my wife and I to get the hang of it
but within a dozen garmets or so we were off to the races. This thing
paid for itself within a few weeks!! We're both in management roles in
our careers so nothing less than starch pressed is acceptable on the
job front. After almost two years of HEAVY use it still works as good
as the day we bought it. Highly recommended!

LOVE IT!
once I figured out how to exactly place garments on board and an effective sequence for ironing, then exactly what the included pad was for i can now iron as if I were getting paid by the piece. This is a wonderful tool for the home for someone who has a lot of ironing to do but doesn't have a lot of time. Simple as heat press and go. I have saved enough money pressing my own clothes over past couple of months to almost pay for the press.
Professional look without the inconvenience of business hours or Closed Sundays..Get my laundry done on my time.
Convenience, savings, professional press....can't beat it.

I wear dress shirts and wool pants or skirts on a daily basis and like to have that crisp "fresh from the cleaner's" look. The SF-680 will quickly pay for itself as I can press 6 shirts in under 20 minutes & they come out looking perfect. The owner's manual has a section of hints for pressing all types of items - make sure you read it before starting, once you get the technique down, using the press is really fun. The best part is the instant gratification -- pressing the entire front of a shirt at once, taking wool gabardine slacks from wrinkly to smooth in 8 seconds. I really love this press. I iron yards and yards of fabric for my quilting and it takes much less time to do this than with a standard, hand held iron. I will admit that it takes a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, you can really speed along and for large pieces of fabric it's wonderful. It has a large ironing bed, the largest that I have seen and that is why I choose it. I would recommend this steam press to anyone. I haven't really used it on clothing at this point, but do intend to in the future.
