Customer Review: I made the correct choice

I looked very carefully at the various tool chests available on Amazon. I didn't want to spend a fortune but I know "your get what you pay for". After due consideration, I selected the Torin unit due to the ball bearing door sliders and the fact that another customer said it was of a better quality than Craftsman. I never looked at a Craftsman tool chest but I had a limited budget so decided to take a chance. What I got was a reasonably heavy duty steel chest that looks good, has a decent fit of the lid and drawers, and stacks as designed with the companion unit. Though made in China, it satisfies my need for a decently constructed common repository for the gazillions of tools I have accumulated over time and that were scattered about my garage. This is not a "Snap On" quality chest (you can't expect it to be at the price) but it's not a piece of cheap junk either. If you need a place to put your stuff that looks decent and has got some torsional integrity, you would do well to consider this item. One nice touch is are the included shelf liners. For an occasional Saturday mechanic like me, this one is a super value from my perspective.
