I have just begun woodcarving and was guided to purchasing this finger guard. A very wise suggestion. Shipping was pricey compared to the 1.50 item but there was nowhere close to me to buy it. I bought these for my husband for Christmas because he was cutting pieces of gauze and putting on his fingers to protect them when using the scroll saw. This gaurd is a must have for any carver. Cutting yourself is easy when you have sharp tools. If you are like me it will hurt your pride as much as your hands. Buy a few, the price is very good.Customer Review: Necessary protection.

These things have proved their value and protection several times over since I bought them. Wouldn't work around craft knives without them. Almost overnight shipping too!
