Bought this one year ago after reading all the reviews. Set up was a snap, the thing is so quiet, and I have figured out how to use the humidistat for the room it's in, which is a very large one. However, have not used the warm mist feature -- have enough mildew problems with the cool mist. By the way, someone needs to invent a way to get the mildew out of the little folds in the spout and other places -- I usually put the spout through the dishwasher periodically. Love having a filter I only change every three months! Very little problem with white precipitate on my furniture; nothing a static-free duster can't fix readily. This is a great little humidifier.

Such a quality product and easy to clean. Cleans quickly and easily using only water a little brush that comes with it. Extremely quiet. NO WHITE DUST! Easy to change the demineralization cartridge, just unscrew the old one out and screw the new one in. I love the warm or cold mist option and the built in hygrostat. I have a separate hygrostat across the room and they are always reading within 2 points of each other. Planning on buying two more at BB&B with 20% coupon. They sell the replacement cartridges too. After 1-year still works like a charm. Whisper quiet. After letting it sit for most of the Spring through Fall got it back out. Put a new demineralization cartridge on it, started right up.
Pro's:
1. Whisper quiet.
2. No white residue.
3. Increases the humidity in a room quickly.
Con's:
1. Humidity indicator is not accurate, but can be easily worked around.
2. Somewhat awkward to fill.
I would recommend this product.

I initially was leary of it because the mist isn't very warm and I couldn't figure out that Co would give me continuous mist even though the humidity read high. It was high that day. My son got a respiratory thing within two weeks of purchase and he loved it. It soothed his sinuses and lungs and he was able to easily manage the operation of it.Customer Review: I finally found a great humidifier

I have purchased many humidifiers before this one and none of them worked properly. I bought this from BB&B last year and it's still running good. It's quiet and easy to program. When you first set the water tank down on the base you may have to wait a while before the unit fills with water and starts up.
