I must say I only purchase these types of fans because the name is worth it. This little fan is very cute and can be placed just about anywhere. This fan is a little loud but not annoying loud as most people suggest. Try putting the fan on the middle speed and you will be just fine. I actually ordered this fan because my cpu fan is broken inside my computer so its working great for that. When my computer is not in use I use it as a regular fan. The price and size of it is completely worth it. Again its very powerful.Customer Review: Commendable fan

I have owned Vornado fans for many years, and they always have moved the air in a vortex, as advertised. This compact 3 speed air circulator effectively creates a current of air that not only propels a focused wind that sets the air in motion around the room but also provides some very pleasant white noise -- a soothing whirring sound. Mind you, I do not always get the full benefit of this fan because my dog, Dundee, plunks himself in front of it and lets the fan ruffle his fur big time, as he is doing right now...Customer Review: Very strong breeze without annoying sound

Pros: the breeze is excellent for the size, which is better/ stronger than bigger fans. The sound is understandable and not annoying. The breeze can be feel 30ft to 40ft away ( it's very windy).
Cons: well, the maximum range is for about 2 people ( wide ).
Conclusion: It's stronger than most if not all bigger fans. It is perfect for one person because of the size. It is almost weightless and can fit anywhere ( super portable )

I have owned Vornado fans for years and they have always been reliable. I purchased this smaller version to use wherever it might be needed.
It's compact size fits on kitchen counters or bedroom tables. It is quiet and efficient. The vortex air flow allows air to circulate without blowing directly in your face.
I recommended this product to my friend and she loves it too.

This fan is great. No, it is not silent but it certainly falls within the range of normal for noise. This is not a fan you want pointed right at you, it's designed for air circulation. I have one room that always gets hotter than the rest in my house, and this fan works great to circulate air and even out the temperature between rooms. The construction seems solid - yet it is very lightweight.
