This humidifier is great: it's simple, works well, and is easy to fill. It's relatively quiet, though definitely not silent. Best of all, NO white dust!
I have one for my living room which has so far lasted three years. I'm moving that to the bedroom and getting a 2nd one to take over in the living room...

This humidifer is a great solution to dry air in your home or apartment. It pumps moisture into the air quickly and quietly; the tanks last a good long while and are easily refilled in the bathtub; and the apparatus is quickly disassembled and reassembled for filter changing and cleaning. We already had a vornado humimdifer similar to this, but a few years older and it works great inside the home during the winter months. The new one works wonders also and helps restore the moisture in our home during the dry winter months. This is the best humidifier I have found. I own two and I am going to purchase a third for the basement. I live in a very dry climate and I now keep my house at 45% humidity with only two of these humidifiers. They cover a lot of square footage for their size. This will be my first and only humidifier. I leave it set at a certain humitity level and leave it. I have been using it for 3 months and no problems. With 2-2.1 Gallon fill jugs on either side make it really easy to fill and keep it going. Vornado is a name you can trust.
