Overall this is a great product. I usually only run one tool at a time and this collector can easily handle it. The only problem that I have with it is that recently it has decided to turn itself on every so often( I'm guessing that there is a problem with the signal from the remote, but I'm not sure). I would definitely recommend going with a canister dust collector.Customer Review: Pretty good with reservations

I have had this DC for >3 years and find it works fine within limits. However, emptying the plastic bag is a big PITA. It is held in place with a flexible metal band that stays in place by friction. Tucking the bag top under it is not easy- Jet needs to rethink this approach. I agree with other reviewers that the cannister top is great and is not sufficiently cleaned just using the paddles. I have used compressed air and just tapping the sides all around with an assembly hammer. Both work. I take the unit outside to change bags/filters as there is lots of fine dust that will get out. For the price it works great except for emptying the bag.
