ErgoSum Design Technology allows you to hold the TriVac with a natural, comfortable grip, and its light weight of just 8.4 pounds and wrap-around soft grip mean you can operate it with one arm. Efficient Electric Motor
Because it runs on a 12 Amp electric motor. The electric motor runs at about 70 decibels, significantly reducing noise pollution, and it has none of the emissions associated with gas-powered engines. The electric power still packs a punch: when used as a blower, the TriVac's air speed of 210 mph is strong enough to clear away wet leaves and other heavy debris. The adjustable air regulator allows you to reduce air flow when working around delicate plants and preventing dust ups. Flip the switch to vacuum mode, and turn mounds of dry leaves into mulch in minutes, perfect for compost piles or ground cover. The TriVac's 10 to 1 mulch ratio makes easy work of large jobs.

Customer Review: Well worth the money

We bought the TriVac mostly to vacuum the leaves and it works great. We've had no problems whatsoever with it. Within 10 minutes of unpacking the Trivac and reading the manual to verify the instructions on how to use it, we had it vacuuming the leaves we had raked before and shoved to a corner of the yard.
We also bought the Worx WA4053 Leaf Collection System For WG500 TriVac and although this accessory took us a bit to figure out how to make it stay on the trashcan, once we did figure it out, it was so easy to get the leaves collected. My twelve year old nephew even uses the Trivac easily enough.
The blower function is also very easy to use and does work to gather the leaves to one spot. However, what we found is that if someone rakes a big pile of the leaves to a spot and another person uses the Trivac to vacuum, clearing an acre of leaves goes a lot faster. No big deal to us since we do like raking the leaves but hated picking it up.
When we do use the attachable bag that comes with it, the bag does get filled up really fast. However, this is a good feature to us because it prevents the Trivac bag from getting too heavy. We have to dump the leaves to the paper bags our township requires anyway so we don't mind emptying the Trivac bag frequently. Besides it takes no more than 5 minutes to detach the bag, dump the collected bits of leaves and twigs, and re-attach the bag to the Trivac.
In all, to us, this was so well worth the money. The only improvement we can think of is if it was cordless but then it would probably not have enough power to work as well as it does now.
