Customer Review: It works adequately, but with quirks

First, I use Vera as my Z-wave controller. I'm not sure how it works with other controllers.
It works, it installed like a champ. I've never installed any kind of HVAC thermostat before this, and the instructions were a little challenging to follow for a Trane-based unit (which I have). Note different companies use differing wiring schemes.
Vera picked it up and I'm able to use it as part of multiple scenes, example, to adjust the temperature when the kid comes home from school (inputting his code into the Link lock), or to turn the cooling temp up to 86 when I go to work at a set time.
The GREAT news, I saved $75 on my first month of use, and since I can control the device remotely, have better control over my cooling costs.
The only pitfall -- temperatures are displayed and set as F, but my Z-wave controller receives the signal as Celsius....I'm told it's the fault of the WD thermostat, that's how it transmits it over z-wave. If you can live with skipping 1 out of every 3 degree levels in your settings, it's not too major a thing. (or just convert straight up to celsius).
Update: The new Vera 979 software does handle the temperature settings in F degrees! Bug resolved.
