Customer Review: Great little device with a design problem

I brought one of these and its really a very helpful little device. I use it at night when it is difficult to get fresh air into my bedroom. I found the replacement batteries very inexpensivey here on Amazon.com.
Problem: How do you get on a plane with a device around your neck with a blinking light? I'm mean really ... I like the little light but in our oversenitive airplane security what are other passengers going to think with a little device that looks like a bomb strapped around your neck with a blinking light?
If anyone can figure out how to disable the light, please let us all know.
Wein, you really need to change this feature if you want to seriously sell more of these things for future travelers.

I fly frequently for business. During the cold and flu season, there are always five or ten people on every flight who are coughing and sneezing. Thanks to the wretched recirculated air on planes, I used come down with a cold about five days after every flight. Since buying this little device, I have repeatedly flown cross-country at the height of flu outbreaks, and come home without so much as a sniffle. I have bought one for every member of my household. It seems to be very effective in preventing the transmission of viruses through casual contact. If I were a teacher, nurse, or daycare provider, I'd wear it to work every day!

I have worn my purifier on all flights for many years. I am now on my
SECOND purifier. Last week I was stopped on a HAWAIIAN AIRLINE flight
and told I could not wear it on the flight. The attendant told me
there is a video of ONE EXPLODING.
I have googled and SNOPES this and can find nothing.
DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS?????

I have only used this a few times. It seems good, though it does turn itself on in my purse and the odor it emits with the air is a little funny, but it is a lot cooler than wearing a dust mask. I haven't gotten sick while wearing it yet.Customer Review: I stay healthy and cold free

With all the travelling I do I wouldn't leave without this product. With all the germs on board a plane this keeps me safe. I flew one time without it and got a real bad cold. I don't leave home without it.
