Customer Review: Works Great at a Reasonable Price

This device is just what I needed to control a tall floor lamp whose three-way switch was too high to reach from my arm chair. Rather than replace the lamp with a new one that turns on when you touch it, this gadget seemed like a logical option. It works for most metal lamps, most of the time. Touch any part of the lamp that is metal and it comes on. Occasionally, it is balky and won't work as expected until you've touched the lamp several times (and you probably look pretty strange doing that, if anyone is looking!) but it is generally reliable, and the occasional balk is easily forgiven for the convenience of touch control. Overall, it is an inexpensive solution to a simple problem for a reasonable price.
