The Westinghouse Contempra IV fan is part of Westinghouse's "Hugger" series of fans and is ideal for rooms with low ceilings because it hangs down from the ceiling less than ordinary fans do.The Contempra IV provides powerful cooling and air with its 52-inch, five-blade design. The blades are reversible, with one side being oak and the other walnut, providing versatility in home decorating. Both sides coordinate handsomely with the fan's antique brass finish.
The fan includes a four-light lighting kit with the four globes resting below and at the center of the fan in a square pattern, providing welcome light when necessary. The globes are made of frosted ribbed glass.
52-inch fans are best suited for large rooms such as living rooms, dining rooms, great rooms, and large bedrooms. The fan is covered with a 25 year limited warranty.--Jeffrey Dalto

Customer Review: Great fan, FAN-tastic price

This is a great fan for the money. I bought for my sons room which is 13x15 and tends to get warm in summer. My husband put the fan in in about 30 minutes (we did a flush-mount as the ceiling in there wouldn't accomodate a down rod). The fan is quiet and does generate good airflow. The light fixture takes mini-candelabra bulbs, but we found some low-wattage bulbs that fit at the local home store. All in all, it's a great fan and the best deal for the money - believe me, I have been pricing fans and values and this gets my 5-stars.
