Customer Review: Not worth it for a very low powered night light

It gives less light than a very low power night light. Personally, I really don't like the illumination/light provided by led lighting.
Also, after buying I went to my local hardware store that had exceptionally inexpensive led lighting of all kinds subsidized by Southern California Edison.
A plug in night light with a brighter output than this bulb for .49 cents. Screw in CFC (or whatever they are called) florescent bulbs for like a dollar (again local power company subsidized) and not the cheap knock of type found in local dollar stores that only last a short time.
Don't bother with this bulb unless you really need virtually no light for some unimaginable personal reason/use.

I bought two of these to use as bulbs in the refrigerator. I like that they use almost no electricity and don't get hot...because really, why put a hot bulb in a cold place.
That said, the bulbs are pretty well to dim to be useful. I mean very dim. I mean, one of these bulbs as putting off less light than a single bulb on a Christmas tree light strand. Thought about sending them back, but didn't have the heart to. Thought about throwing them away, but considering how expensive they are couldn't bring myself to do it.

I will be terse since most people have covered this. I REALLY want to find a product that is close to CFLs, let alone incandescent, at a reasonable price. What this purchase proved to me is that the technology just isn't there yet. Soon, I am sure. However, this product is very underpowered and produces a blue hue. I do use the light in the hallway between the bedrooms in case people get up at nite!Customer Review: is tiny really better?

I could not say if the bulb worked or how it worked because it would not fit into my S11 socket.. huge disappointment. sucks that they are still advertising it as S11 after i contacted them and told them it wasn't.
